While we are thankful to be able to gather again in-person again, it is important we do our part to stay compliant with local guidelines and consider all gathering safety measures.
Aug 24, 2021 - BC Centre for Disease Control released an update that worship services are exempt from both the provincial mask mandate and the requirement to provide proof of immunization against COVID-19 effective Sept 13th.
In sharing this next statement from BCCDC, we hope to encourage everyone to consider how we can continue to represent Jesus well to our community around us:
As COVID-19 vaccinations are administered throughout the province, we can gather in-person again to share hope, healing, restoration and recovery. As pillars of strength, religious organizations and faith-based worship services play a critical role in connecting the community by supporting beneficial and safe social interactions.
Here's our response in creating a safe worship environment:
If you are not feeling well, or recently exposed to anyone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home and join us online for church.
Although not mandatory, we are encouraging everyone to consider wearing a mask for the benefit of others.
Give others space. Not everyone will feel comfortable being close to others, including sitting, standing shoulder-to-shoulder or shaking hands. While there are no size limits on worship services (indoor or outdoor), we encourage everyone to spread out in the available space before, during, and after services.
Please clean your hands frequently, especially before touching faces. Washing with regular soap and water reduces the spread of illness. Hand sanitizer is also available at each gathering.
Here at BeLoved everyone is welcome either masked, or unmasked, vaccinated, or unvaccinated. Let us know if you have any questions as we do our best to keep you informed. We look forward to seeing you soon!
