Can you believe we are more than half-way through 2023? Back to school is ramping up. We're looking forward to pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters, and City Groups.

As we continue to grow and go together, Pastor's Corner will become our touchpoint to communicate key highlights and learn more about each other. Expect change, be curious, ask questions, and stay positive. As a church body, we are pregnant with God's plan for the future. Change is inevitable, it's going to be uncomfortable at times, but we all know having a baby is not comfortable. It can be hard for some of us to let go and let God. So ask yourself, what is it you might be holding onto that's choking your opportunity to grow?

Healthy things grow and growing things change. God is doing amazing things, and we're excited to be part of it with you.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Ephesians 3:19-20

Celebrate With Us

Highlighting from a few of our win statements, here are some of the things we are celebrating so far in 2023:

We see beyond ourselves. Growth is our pursuit. We see past what's in front of us to see those who don't know Jesus yet.

    • 24 new salvations
    • 9 people who have taken a step in baptism
    • City Groups are bursting at the seams and more groups are preparing to launch in September.

We worship loud. We abandon self in the way we passionately celebrate Jesus. Everything we do, we do for the glory of God.

    • God's presence is tangible in every service. We are seeing how God is changing hearts, families, and even work places.

We lead the way in irrational generosity. We don't settle for small thinking and comfort living. We have an abundance mindset and are not afraid to take risks.

    • Launched the #heretostay campaign. BeLoved has raised more than 20% of our $100,000 goal within the first 2 months!
    • Shout out to the GROW Team who bring their best every Sunday. You are dedicated in curating moments for others to meet Jesus. Your care for one another shows in the way you invest time and energy in setting up and tearing down (even in the heat of summer), and preparation during the week in prayer, communication, meetups, and practice.

Goals and Priorities

We are here to move church forward.
We often think in addition, but God thinks in multiplication. Adding to the work God is already doing, He can multiply it for something impacting.

At the recent ARC Conference we were reminded of the story of Noah. God didn't build the ark, Noah did. If Noah didn't build the ark, no one would have floated. If we don't build the church, our cities won't float. God told Noah how to build the ark. The design matters, Noah couldn't just build whatever he wanted.

God is the Author of time and space. He has appointed us in this time, in this place so we can impact the life of someone else today. There's a world that needs Jesus, there will be an end, we all need Jesus, and we have room.

How can you help? Start praying. Make prayer your first response. Be bold, pray with power. Ask God to show you where He's already at work. Start sharing. Be part of the movement within your local church. Start doing. Commit to action and be part of something great. Start inviting. Bring someone to church with you so they can meet Jesus too. Start giving. Every dollar you sow will be multiplied.

Have you been wanting to serve on a team? Come on out to a Discovery Night to learn more about how we go and grow together.

Our Commitment

As Christ followers, we are called to serve a vision greater than ourselves. Living our Values are essential to our reputation in our community and to each other. We take responsbility in the message of the Gospel, to see beyond ourselves and to reach others.

We are committed to building thriving and life-giving churches that exist to make an eternal impact.

We are commited to resourcing the next generation in being the leaders of the now and future church.

Are we ready church? Let's grow and go together!

Love,
Pastors Chris and Angela
